Scott Langen, MBA, CMC, PMP
Scott Langen joined the Praxis team in the summer of 2015. Scott brings with him 20+ years in management advisory services as well as executive-level leadership experience specializing in community engagement research, business strategy, and project management methodology.
Over the last several years, Scott has had the opportunity to advise, support, collaborate, and work alongside organizations and leadership from a multitude of sectors involving First Nations communities and entities, the public and Crown sectors, private industry, and a continuum of not-for-profit sector organizations.
Prior to his more formal consulting career, Scott’s experience includes assuming more progressive and senior executive roles within both the public and non-profit sectors. His background includes executive leadership, project management, strategic planning, organizational effectiveness and governance, risk management, economic development practices, direct program design, and business case analysis.
Scott has a proven track record with respect to project oversight, performance management, and client/stakeholder engagement. He holds a Master of Business Administration (1998) from the University of Regina and has also obtained his Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations. In addition to Scott’s years of Board, governance, and community volunteer experience, he has also taught university classes in the areas of marketing, public finance, and business-government relations.
